# Pricing and tiers

> How Engado's price works: one plan, a tier set by how many websites have joined, the price you start at locked in for life, and the same features at every tier.

Engado has one plan, and everyone gets everything in it. There is no premium tier
and no feature you have to pay extra for. What changes is the price, and the price
works in your favour the earlier you join.

## One plan, a price that rises over time

The price is set by a tier, and the tier moves up as more websites join the
network. Early members pay less. The later you arrive, the higher the going rate,
because you are joining a bigger, more useful network on day one.

Pricing is **per website**, so if you run several, each is priced on its own.

## Your price is locked in for life

This is the part that matters: **the price you sign up at is yours for as long as
you stay a member.** The tier only ever steps up for new arrivals. Once you are
in at a price, later increases do not touch you, even years from now when the
network is much larger.

That is why it pays to join early. You are not just getting a lower price today,
you are locking it in.

## The founding tier is free

The earliest websites pay nothing, ever. While the free founding tier is open,
signing up and verifying a site costs nothing and keeps that free price for life.

## What counts toward the tier

The tier is based on how many websites have ever activated on Engado, a number
that only goes up. It does not step back if a site leaves, so the price you see
is stable, not something that flickers around.

## Seeing the current price

Because the going rate moves as the network grows, this page does not quote a
figure that could fall out of date. The live price, the tier you would join at,
and the ladder of future tiers are always shown on the
[pricing page](https://app.engado.com/pricing) in the app.

## Same features at every tier

Every member gets the full product: verification, nightly matching, search and
filters, SEO metrics, direct and group chats, alerts, and more. A higher tier
does not buy more features. It is the same Engado for everyone, priced by when
you joined.
